Just received these with no instructions in the ...

Just received these with no instructions in the box. Put one of the batteries on the charger (not plugged in) and the GREEN LED comes on by the word "charge". Plug it in and the LED turns solid RED. Four hours later, still RED. How do I know when it's properly charging or fully charged? Will the LED go out? Is there an error indicator, i.e. flashing?

Initial charge takes a while, maybe 24 hours, thereafter it should take about 10 hours.
