The waterproof polycarbonate housing is impact-resistant to five feet and is rated IP66 water-resistant. A rubber cover protects the micro-USB charging port. The lamp's battery charges in two hours, and runtimes range from 30 minutes on turbo to 160 hours on low. If the battery becomes fully drained, the light will still operate if plugged into any USB power supply (more likely as a lantern than a headlamp.) The elastic headband is designed to wick perspiration away from your face.

Only used it on one camping trip, but seems to recharge fast, is plenty bright, and no more messing with leaky 3A batteries

The unit is smallish and comfortable to wear. Not brighter than my other headlamp but easily brightens a location up to 30 feet away.

The perfect headlamp!

Bright with 3 white light options, plus 30 second turbo mode. Compact, rechargeable and only 2 ounces!! Runs a long time on a single charge. Love it!

Light, powerful, waterproof, rechargeable. Gone are the days of wearing a rock on my forehead. For backpacking or trail running I don’t feel that I’m wearing it.

I bought this headlamp for astrophotography because is small, lightweight and robust. The intensity of light beacons are perfect for my needs, the life of battery is good and are rechargeable, saving money on alkaline batteries and saving the environment. If you want a good price on a good product, is the perfect option. For long night hikes, camping or sport, maybe isnt't right for you, but for light use, couldn't find a better cost benefit.
