With this black, 15 ft long Tether Tools TetherPro USB Type-C Male to Micro-USB 3.0 Type B Male Cable, you can connect a camera, smartphone, or other USB Type-C device to a computer, for the purposes of transferring data. This cable supports USB 3.0 for data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s. This cable also features a right angle connector, which is designed to help alleviate stress on the cable connector.

If you connect a camera to a laptop and your camera is compatible with tethering, you can use this cable to help increase productivity during photo shoots. Rather than proof images on your camera's small LCD, they are sent directly to a notebook's larger, hi-res display. Seeing images in this way helps to review them for slight imperfections that you may have otherwise missed.

To help enhance performance, this cable is fully shielded and plated to help minimize signal interference. Please Note: this cable is designed to be used for data transfer only, and not for charging devices.

Upgraded cable to connect camera to new usb-c only laptop for tethered shooting on location. Same great reliability as with all Tether Tool products. Just be sure to update all of your firmware and software!

I connected my Canon 5D Mk IV (had to update firmware first) to my MacBook Air (M1), and ran the Canon EOS Utility for tethered shooting. Works great! When in portrait orientation, I use the RRS Cable Relief Spacer attached to the L-bracket, to provide clearance for the cable.

I finally can connect my older LaCie external hard drive to my new MacBook. I haven't seen these pictures and documents since 2014. Tether cord worked beautifully with no problems. Instant connection.

Hi, I need to connect a Nikon D7100, D750 and D810 to a Macbook Pro Touchbar that has a USB C port, what is the cable I need?

The 7100 and 750 use the same USB Mini-B 8 pin, but the D810 uses a micro-B cable. The one listed here would work only for the 810. Not sure if there is an adapter but Ttether Tools website has good info.
