Great Lens at a great price

I used it with a Sony A7iii, for the price this gives extremely nice quality inages and video. Super sharp in the center and begins to get softer around the edges, however I was sort of expecting that. It almost gives the essense of being an antique lens, very good for getting dreamy bokeh in videos. The fact it is a 1.8 aperture lens makes this great at low lighting, I used it to shoot an outdoor event that had a single light source at dusk, the footage looked great. This is a must buy if you are looking to have a variety of spare lense at different focal lengths.

I will start off saying that I have only used the lens for a little bit, and in that time I have found it very easy to use. Up until now I was still using the provided lens and was using it like a manual one from the start. I know I have more to learn, and for the price I felt this was the best choice to teach me how use a lens that won't auto focus or track. Of the few photos I have taken I'm blown away with how sharp they are. And even though not all of them are perfect, it's what I expected for a novice photographer starting out.

I would give it a 5 if the F stops locked and the DOF scale were accurate, those improvements would make it near perfect.The lens is nice metal and glass fits the mount perfectly, focuses nicely. Looks sweet on my omd-10. I would recommend it, noting the minor improvements I mentioned above. Slight barrel distortion but certainly doesn't look obvious.

I bought this lens to see if I liked that focal length before I committed myself to the more spendy Fuji version. It's actually really good, my only beef is lack of indents for the aperture ring. Solidly made it's a great deal and I'm in no hurry to get the Fuji version.

You get what you pay for with this lens. The lens feels like it is made of cheap plastic; indeed it has a plastic lens mount. It is terribly soft, although images from it will yield acceptable snapshots after sharpening in post. The flare is bad enough to make me wonder if it has any coating. The only good point is it is a light lens you can easily drop in a pocket of your jacket, giving you an extra focal length option in the field if you shoot primes.

I have the Fuji X-T100 and I just received this lens and it will not take a picture. I've re-formatted the card, turned the camera on and off..... The f-stop ring works, but that's it. Has anyone had this same issue, and has a work around?

Hi, i read on some website that this lens might not fit an om-d e-m10 mark ii , can you please confirm ?

This lens WILL fit on a EM10 mark II but it does not fit on the mark III due to a slightly different design. The mount of the lens hits the front of the camera just above the flange on the camera and does not allow it to seat and mount.
