Definitely a budget lens, but works

I wanted flexibility in the focal length for my Raspberry Pi HQ camera so I got this. The housing is plastic and it is very light weight. In my setup the image vignettes at about half way to wide angle. Changing zoom requires a change in focus which is annoying, but tolerable. The bigger issue is that I seem to have to change the back focal distance when I go from fully wide to fully long. If you want to use the full Pi HQ image sensor then you are limited to probably the top 1/3 of this lens's focal length. I was only using the center HD region. The focus and zoom have locking screws. The aperture does not, but it is high enough friction and the ring is small so it is unlikely to be bumped when adjusting other things. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one, but since it was very affordable and the images are pretty good I went with 4.
