System installers looking to set up an IP base station for full-duplex communication will be excited by the TOA Electronics N-8640SB IP Door Station Board Unit, a kit of electronics for building a chemically resistant intercom system capable of withstanding industrial/harsh environments.

The kit includes a main PC board, a sub-PC board, a chassis with speaker and microphone, LAN cable assemblies with coupler, installation brackets, and other hardware. Once configured, the unit supplies four contact outputs and one input for use with access control systems and remote dialers.
