What lens board do I need for the Hasselblad Xcd? I just received one adapter for the camera, not for the lens.
The Actus itself is a modular system so you would need to choose the lens board that would work best for your usage.
For the Hasselblad X1d you should consider the following lens boards: Mamiya 645 (ACB-M645), Pentax 645 (ACB-P645), Hasselblad CF (Legacy Hasselblad Lenses) (ACB-HA), Mamiya RB/RZ (ACB-RZ), The Cambo Actar series of lenses, or large format lenses in a Copal-0 (ACB-0) or Copal-1 (ACB-1) Shutter 70mm and longer.

with the Hasselblad CF lens mounted, is the shutter in the lens functional? Can it be used to time an exposure or must one use the electronic shutter?
The shutter in the lens is not functional. The shutter must be set in cocked position and the electronic shutter in the camera must be used. Also Cambo ACTUS-XCD View Camera Body with Hasselblad XCD Bayonet Mount (Black) does not include the lens mount. It must be purchased separately. All of this work with xcd lenses?
Actus-XCD cannot work with the Hasselblad XCD lenses at this time. The lenses themselves are unable to be controlled when not connected to the camera body, and if used with a Hasselblad X1D body would result in the bellows acting as a series of extension tubes and not the intended perspective control method.

Without knowing exactly which lens you are referring to I cannot give a solid answer, however generally speaking with large format lenses 47mm-60mm and longer should work (depending on the rear element size). Anything wider than that that isn't one of the Cambo Actar 24 lenses cannot be guaranteed.

Can I rotate the X1D body from horizontal to vertical without separating it from the system?
Yes. The Cambo Actus-XCD has a rotating Bayonet system. When mounted it is possible to change the orientation of the camera without removing it.

Can I put Hasselblad lenses without any adapters?
No. The Actus-XCD comes with the appropriate reat standard, monorail, and bellows. In order to attach Hasselblad V series lenses you would need to add the ACB-HA lens board.
