The UBP-X700 features two HDMI outputs and a digital coaxial output for versatile connectivity options; one HDMI output exclusively transmits audio for connection to a non-ARC-compatible sound system, or to separate your audio and video feeds. This Blu-ray player has Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port built-in to allow you to stream multimedia content from your home network. The USB port also provides for the playback of your digitally stored media.

Get More from Your Movies with 4K UHD

Experience movies with four times the resolution of Full HD Blu-ray Discs with new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs and 4K UHD streaming services.

HDR10

An HDR10 signal contains up to 100x the brightness of a standard (SDR) signal, increasing peak brightness while retaining deep, detailed blacks, when combined with a compatible display and content.

Play Nearly Anything

The UBP-X700 plays a multitude of file types, allowing you to watch, listen to, and stream almost anything you like, including most HD video and audio formats and a host of popular streaming services. Play all your CD, DVD, and Blu-ray collections; multiple music formats, including AAC and PCM audio up to 11.2 MHz DSD; and movies over USB or your home network.

BT.2020 Color Space

Support for the BT.2020 color space means access to a wider range of colors than conventional TV signals offer. This wide color space means content creators can deliver more saturated and realistic colors.

Enjoy UHD Detail in Nearly Everything You Watch

The UBP-X700 can intelligently upscale nearly everything you watch to UHD resolution. Every object is enhanced in real time, so you can enjoy detailed images on your UHD display. The HDR-SDR conversion intelligently scales HDR's ultra-wide brightness range into an SDR image, maintaining outstanding picture quality even with SDR TVs.

Stream Movies and TV Shows in 4K UHD

Enjoy fast, stable streaming from a variety of services in 4K UHD thanks to Wi-Fi with MIMO technology.

Designed for Seamless Operation

With a menu and interface engineered to be intuitive, apps and features are organized simply, making it easier to find what you're looking for

Dual HDMI Outputs

Dolby Vision, Scheduled to be Made Available After a Future Firmware Update

Asked by: Gustavo A.
It plays UHD Bluray discs natively, but I've found that it doesn't do a very good job of upscaling standard non-Bluray DVDs.
