The Vortex Optics 6x20 Impact 850 Laser Rangefinder gives you the critical edge and confidence to take that long-range shot.

The powerful eye safe IR laser can range out to 850 yards to reflective targets, or deer-sized targets up to 400 yards away. Integrated into the ranging system is an inclinometer that measures the relative angle between you and your target and displays an adjusted range distance for you to more accurately calculate your ballistic drop compensation (BDC) and improve your first-shot accuracy. For purists, a traditional line of sight option is available that provides the actual linear distance without compensating for the angle. With a ranging time of less than a second, your choice of spot or scan modes, the option of showing readings in yards or meters, an auto-off function, the Impact 850 rangefinder is fast and easy to use.

The uncluttered non-illuminated display is easy to read without interfering with the view while a simple 2-button menu-driven interface makes navigating the system functions and options quick. A collar around the eyepiece brings the view into sharp focus, with a comfortable eye relief that won't cause eye strain. The compact form factor is ergonomically designed to be used one-handed, and with a weight of just 5.5 ounces it can be packed and carried all day without fatigue or excessive bulk.

Optical Performance

  • Moderate 6x power magnifies subjects without sacrificing field of view
  • 20mm objective lens ensures a slim form factor for easier one-hand use
  • Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics maximize light transmission, ensure accurate color fidelity, and improve contrast and clarity
  • 341' field of view at 1000 yards

Rangefinder

  • Class 3R eye safe IR laser
  • 850nm peak wavelength, 5mW max output
  • Range displayed in yards or meters
  • Less than one second ranging time
  • 10 yard minimum range
  • 850 yard maximum range to reflective target, 400 yards to deer-sized target
  • ±1 yard metering accuracy at 100 yards
  • Integrated inclinometer measures relative upward or downward angle to the target, maximum angle ±60°
  • Line of Sight (LOS) metering displays linear distance to subject, regardless of angle
  • Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) displays adjusted distance based on LOS and angle for improved BDC calculation and first-shot accuracy
  • Scan feature allows for constant range readings when metering to multiple targets or tracking moving ones
  • Two-button interface with menu-driven system for easier use
  • Constant in-view battery status display
  • Auto-off after 10 seconds of inactivity to preserve battery life
  • Runs on one included CR2 battery
