Designed for ease of use and versatility, the tan Princeton Tec Remix RGB LED Headlamp is designed to be your go-to illumination tool for any job or task that comes your way.
It is outfitted with a Maxbright spotlight LED that gives it a far throw to light your way ahead, and three colored Ultrabright floodlight secondary LEDs—red, blue, and green—provide a choice of light that illuminates without affecting night-adjusted vision. Each color is ideally suited to specific tasks, so you can choose the color you need and get the job done effectively. A simple push switch gives you easy control of the high and low outputs for the white and colored lights. Three included AAA alkaline batteries drive the LEDs—or you can use your own rechargeable NiCad or NiMH if you'd prefer, but output and runtimes might be different.
Its lightweight plastic housing is IPX4 rated to protect it against light rain or splashing water, and to make battery changes fast and easy in the field the battery compartment has an easy-open latch so there's no need to carry extra tools with you out in the field. The light assembly of this version is desert tan with a desert camouflage patterned adjustable head strap. Feather light at under 3 ounces, the Remix RGB is so light you can wear it all day while hardly even noticing it.
Colored Light Uses
- Colored lights allow users to perform tasks without affecting night-adjusted vision or disturbing others who may be sleeping
- Red: Red light is outside the visible range of many game animals, so you can signal to partners, read, or navigate without alerting your quarry
- Blue: Protects night-adjusted vision and highlights blood/fluid trails for hunters who are tracking their game. Useful for those who experience difficulty seeing red and green colored light
- Green: Complements night vision devices and provides better contrast than blue or red light for reading or navigating at night
