Adding autofocus to the proven wide-angle design, the FiRIN 20mm f/2 FE AF from Tokina is a versatile prime dedicated to full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. The ultra-wide perspective is benefitted by a sophisticated optical design, which incorporates three super-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements to control both chromatic and spherical aberrations. A multi-layer coating has also been applied to reduce lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and improved color fidelity. Its ring-shaped ultrasonic autofocus motor realizes fast, responsive, and accurate AF performance along with full-time manual focus control. Additionally, electronic contacts are integrated into the mount design to permit seamless communication of distance and aperture information to the camera body in order to support the use of focusing aids, in-camera image stabilization, and an EVF distance scale

Tokina FiRIN 20mm f/2 AF Reviews
Unbelievable!
This is the best 20mm lens I have seen so far. Thank you, Tokina! I also own Tokina 100mm f2.8 Macro lens, Canon mount. Evaluated on Sony A7 III camera.
Good quality and price
Is a good option considering the price, AF little noise but is ok. Sharp. Well made. Color is black matte. Lens hood difficult to use.
Excellent lens but noisy
In terms of optics, focus speed, accuracy, size, and weight, this lens gets 5 stars. The only knock against it is that the focus is loud and jittery on continuous focus. Not suitable for video if AF is important to you. Despite that, it’s one of my most used lenses on the Sony A7RIII. Smaller, fast-enough (F1.8 - F2) lenses are great for mirrorless cameras.
Tokina Firin 2.0 f/2 AF
I shoot Travel Photography and found Tokina Firin 20mm F/2.0 a very versatile lens. Travel, Lowlight, Night, and Astrophotography enthusiasts will be very happy that this lens came about.
Excellent lens for Sony FE
Sharp wide open, excellent resolution. Comparable, comes with AF and cheaper to the Loxia 21.
Better than the Sigma 20mm 1.4!
So I went to the store to look for a wide and as always the reps there were awesome. Played with a few lenses and asked for a wide and wanted to see if they had this lens in stock as well as the Sigma 20mm 1.4. Tried both and I have to say that the lens distortion is not as noticeable on the Tokina as it was on the Sigma. If you are looking for something wide and very little to no lens distortion, this is the lens to get!
Excellent Lens
I purchased this lens switching from a Sigma 24mm F1.4 ART and I love the size and weight of this Tokina. The only complaint would be AF motor noise but I already knew that. I wouldn't recommend this lens for video unless you have off camera mic. I loved everything else on this lens from the build quality to image quality.
Worth the price
Brought this for astrophotography use. Works pretty well, and the shallow depth of field at f2.0 is fantastic. The AF motor is noisy, but the glass is pretty good for the price. Have taken some daylight shots as well and they turned out great as well. It's not a top of the line lens, but for the price and for my usage, a pretty great one.
