The Bamberg from Adam Professional Audio is a matched 2.2 speaker system designed to provide high SPL, extended frequency reproduction, and tonal customization for recording, mixing, and mastering engineers in medium to large control rooms. It includes two S3V active 3-way monitors and two Sub15 active subwoofers. The vertically oriented monitors feature 9" woofers, 4" midrange drivers, and S-ART tweeters. Offering 850W RMS of power, 32 Hz to 50 kHz frequency response, and 6-band EQ with high- and low-pass filters, they are well suited for critical listening. The subwoofers feature 15.5" woofers, 20 Hz to 150 Hz frequency response, and 1000W RMS of power. Connectivity is straightforward thanks to standard XLR 3-pin jacks.
The S3V from Adam Professional Audio is an active studio reference monitor designed for vertical orientation in medium-sized or smaller control rooms. Capable of delivering 850W RMS of cumulative amp power, it features a 9” HexaCone woofer, 4” dome/cone hybrid midrange driver, and handmade folded-ribbon tweeter. The waveguides, Adam-designed mid- and high-range propagation systems (MPS and HPS), ensure a wide, stable sweet spot.
Developed for transparency, the S3V’s frequency response is an impressive 32 Hz – 50 kHz. A multitude of DSP options, from equalization to delay, are provided for tailoring the monitor to the room and to personal preferences. The back panel features an OLED display and a push-button/rotary encoder to allow modification of parameters. Connect a computer to the USB Type-A jack for convenient remote access to all the S3V’s settings.
Two inputs, balanced analog and AES3 digital, are available via XLR jacks. An XLR AES3 output is provided to route digital signal to the second monitor, necessary for correct digital signal flow. Vary input sensitivity and output level as needed. Load and save voicing presets for quick configuration of monitor options. If further tonal adjustments are desired, there is a 6-band parametric EQ with high-pass and low-pass filters. Use up to 5 ms of delay for timing adjustments.
Adam S Series monitors, custom-developed with no off-the-shelf components, are handmade in Berlin according to strict manufacturing tolerances.

The Adam Audio Sub15 -15" 1000 W Subwoofer is designed for studio mixing and home theater applications. The unit utilizes a 1000W PWM amplifier, a 100mm voice coil, and a two magnet assembly to drive a single 15" rigid aluminum membrane woofer from 20 to 150 Hz at a maximum SPL of 112 dB as measured from one meter. The cabinet features a downward firing bass port. For controls, the subwoofer includes a variable -60 to +6 dB volume control and an adjustable low-pass crossover frequency control from 50 to 150 Hz.
For inputs, the sub features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors. For outputs the unit features a balanced XLR sub output for connecting to a second sub, as well as balanced stereo XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs for connecting to a set of satellite speakers. An 85 Hz high pass filter switch can be engaged to integrate the sub with the satellite speakers. For surround sound integration, the subwoofer includes a 0° or 180° reverse phase switch.
