Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great New Bag on the Market After doing an interview with Ian Millar on the Nature Photography Show podcast I had the chance to get my hands on the 40L. Overall I think this pack is fantastic. The unique tripod carrying pouch is very useful, the straps are comfortable, and the material is very water resistant. Currently only the medium and small core units are available (I have both) but I am looking forward to the Large once it gets on the market. Ian really has a good bead on the adventure photographer's needs. Good job Shimoda Designs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best camera bag I've ever owned Easily holds my camera and the lenses that I carry on most backpacking trips and I love the fact that I can add another small ICU to increase the capacity if need be. Really like the way it holds my tripod securely and the whole unit fits my smaller frame extremely well and I found it very comfortable to carry on the shorter trips I have done so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good and bad I have no complains on backpack, fine for handling and carrying. But: Colors are bad. I have a Blue one and it is inside in some green, not very appealing tone. More problems I have with Core units. The height is to big and you have a lot of unused empty space when packed with stuff. I will rather get f-stop shallow medium unit for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not have dividers I thought this photo bag came with dividers in the main section. All of the other special pockets were there. I need to find out if the dividers come separately. Not really happy the way it is now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A serious quality camera backpack! I bought this backpack in preparation for an adventure through New Zealand and Australia, and I can honestly say that it's one of the best pieces of equipment I could have purchased for the trip! Not only is it very light, it is crazy comfy to wear. The ergonomics are well thought out, and it's easy to adjust almost every aspect of the bag. Even when I had every piece of my video gear and laptop in the bag, the quality of the straps and ergonomics made it easy to bare the weight and didn't weigh me down. One of the biggest things I appreciate it the attention to detail with the design and durability. The material is very durable, easy to clean, and holds up to the elements without a problem. Almost everything on the bag is customizable and you have so many options with how to store your gear. I was able to fit all of my video gear, as well as a 15" laptop without a single issue. I also bought this with the medium core unit insert, which made it very easy to customize and secure my gear. I've hiked so many miles with this bag so far, and i'm excited for many more. I am not usually one to review gear, but the quality and attention to every detail with this bag has got me seriously impressed. I absolutely recommend it to anyone for photography or videography.
