Two questions 1- is there a 1/4 connection on the base to connect with a tripod? Is the connection at the top of the stick strong enough to support a gimbal like the DJI Osmo Mobile 2?
Asked by: Edward
There is a male 1/4-20 screw on the bottom which can be used to connect to a tripod or leg system. Depending on what you want to attach it to you'll likely need an adapter...but yes you can attach the selfie stick to another support device. The connection at the top is a standard 1/4-20 screw. Yes, it is strong enough to connect a DJI Osmo gimbal but....give given how tall the gimbal is the center of gravity will limit how quickly you can raise/lower the selfie stick without cracking the gimbal handle. If you're asking can the selfie stick support the DJI Osmo 2 gimbal in a straight vertical position the answer is yes it can.
