Browning Spec Ops Advantage overview

  • 1Description

Stay informed about what's happening on your property or hunting grounds with the Browning Recon Force Advantage Trail Camera. High-resolution imagery – 20MP still photos and 1920 x 1080 video – record the activity of game (or people) day and night, while a suite of features allows you to customize your scouting. Trigger speed is adjustable from 0.7 to 0.4 seconds. The 80'-range invisible IR flash can be set for maximum distance or power saving. The 80' detection range is also adjustable. The Smart IR video option will capture daylight video as long as the subject is moving. You can choose preset intervals between triggered photos from 1 second to 1 hour. The camera can take up to eight photos in either Multi-Shot or Rapid Fire mode. Time-Lapse mode snaps photos at preset intervals all day, and Browning's Buck Watch Time-Lapse Viewer software, available for download, stitches the photos together into a short video so you can review the day's activity in a few minutes. (The camera continues to take motion-triggered photos while in Time-Lapse mode.)

You can review your photos and footage in the field on the cam's 2" color viewing screen. The 5 x 4 x 2.5" Recon Force Advantage is equipped with a battery power indicator that works with alkaline and lithium batteries, preventing surprises in the field. It runs on eight AA batteries and can be powered via its 12V external power jack. Pictures and video are saved to a user-supplied SDXC up to 512GB. A tree-mounting strap is supplied, and the camera also has a 1/4"-20 tripod-style mount in its base.

    Browning Spec Ops Advantage reviews

Spec Ops Advantage Trail Camera is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still reviewing Battery case is a nail ripper getting it separated from the housing. Initial night in action @ 12 MP, nice & clear vids, better than the other two Browning cams I have which aren't bad either. Will need to read up a bit on settings, because after 1 nite we ran outta battery! I really like the dark IR feature, as this one is aimed at my back door & well hidden. The others announce their presence with red eye "there be monsters here", so if this one works out, I'll probably get one more. I'm rating it for now a 4 'cause maybe it uses a lot more juice than I anticipated, but not necessary it's a Browning issue.
