The Steady Rest from Matthews, also known as "Moses' pole", is a double-riser, telescoping pole with a crutch tip on the bottom and a 5/8" baby pin on the top. It is designed to allow you to rest your stabilizer system in-between shots so you can give your back a break. Additionally, it can be used as end support for slider systems when rigged on a dolly to help prevent sag. To rig the Steady Rest to your slider, you need a separately available ball head adapter.

Does this have the same 1.25 diameter as their c-stands? I have a clamp specific to that size I would like to use with it.

it has a baby pin. This is standard grip size across the board. Same as their C-stands
