iOptron 8037 overview

  • 1Description

iOptron combined the strength and stability of a pier, with the portability and leveling flexibility of a tripod to produce their Tri-Pier 360; offered here with red legs and a black center column. Designed to provide a rock-solid platform for their large CEM120 equatorial GoTo mounts, the pier and leg tops are made of lightweight and durable aluminum alloy, with adjustable feet to level it in on uneven ground with a variation of up to 2". It has a payload capacity of 360 pounds to handle even the largest mounts, OTAs, and accessories; and features an adjustable height from 32 to 42" to accommodate a wide variety of users, equipment, and viewing positions. It folds up into a relatively compact 31x11" package for easier transport and storage.
