ProGrade Digital 128GB UHS-II SDXC overview

  • 1Description

The 128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) from ProGrade Digital features a storage capacity of 128GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support maximum read speeds of 200 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 80 MB/s. This card has also been designed with the V60 Video Speed Class rating, which guarantees minimum write speeds of at least 60 MB/s, allowing the card to be optimized for 4K, 3D, and Full HD video capture, as well as raw photos and rapid-fire bursts.

UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V60 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V60. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Built for extreme conditions, ProGrade Digital's 128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) is able to withstand temperatures from -13 to 185°F, allowing you to take this card with you into extreme environments, such as snow and deserts. A built-in write protect switch helps to safeguard your content from being erased.

ProGrade Digital 128GB UHS-II SDXC reviews

    128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No error messages These cards work fine in an EVA1 even with the All-I codec. No errors, warnings, or failures.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for GH5 While these cards should have a write speed more than adequate for the GH5's 4K LongGOP recording settings - 100-150mbps depending on frame rate setting - they were frequently getting write speed errors. ProGrade support said that they experienced the same issue on these cards, but did not have anything noted on their website about this. They recommend the V90 cards. I'll continue using my SanDisk Pro Extreme 95MB/s cards for the time being.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worse than Lexar 128gb 1000x Ok so I needed some new 128gb UHS-3 cards. I currently have 4x Lexar 128gb 1000x cards and 2x Sandisk 128gb Extreme Pro 95mb/s. Thought these were going to be good. I was wrong. The read speed is ok, only slightly better than the Lexars (big deal /s). The write speeds are way worse. They are even way worse than the old Sandisk 95mb/s cards that are $30 cheaper per card (like 35% cheaper). The Sandisk write speed is 50% faster! The Lexars never worked right with Panasonic cameras and I guess these continue the trend. So much for progress. The write speeds compared to the competition are trash. Avoid these cards. Going to try to return. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge dissapointment I bought these cards 2 weeks ago hoping they will give me peace of mind for my professional work. Unfortunately, on two separate occasions during a shoot, I got the same error message from both my GH5 and GH5s :" the recording was cancelled due to slow card speed". The result was corrupted files and lost footage. Recording settings: Long Gop 420, UHD, 100Mbps. Returned them to B&H for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've Ever Used I bought these for use on an upcoming vacation; mainly for their capacity, but just as much for their speed. I have been using these ProGrade 128 GB in my Panasonic GH5 and also my G9. As a test the other day, I put the pair into my GH5, set it to record C4K at 400 Mbps (even though I don't see myself ever doing this for anything I will do). After over 2 minutes of recording with my simple little test, the card was still accepting the video. These V60s work fine. I don't think see myself ever needing the V90. Over the month or 2 I've had these, I have shot anything from a few dozen to a few hundred shots, imported into the computer, formatted, and repeated the process at least a couple dozen times. I have noted no errors, hiccups, or any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOLID PERFORMER I read about ProGrade memory cards on DP Review. The company is comprised of ex-Lexar executives and technical people. I decided to try the 64 GB SDXC II card in my Olympus OMD EM1 Mark II. I have been using the card for 5 months with excellent performance and no glitches. The camera writes to the card very quickly without a long buffering time. For the moment I have a 100% backup to a second card, until I am certain of the reliability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic - you won't be disappointed Work great in my Panasonic EVA-1 camera - super fast and a great value. Would buy again.
