General Features
High-Performance Heat Pipes
The five 6mm heatpipes carry heat to specific locations on the cooling fins and provide a cooling capacity of 160W TDP.
Direct Connection of Base Plate and Fins
The baseplate and the cooling fins of Shadow Rock TF 2 are directly connected. This helps to ensure fast heat transfer and improved cooling efficiency.
Silence-Optimized Operation
Silent operation typical for be quiet! products is achieved by the silence-optimized 135mm be quiet! fan. Delivering a strong balance between cooling performance and minimal noise, its smooth operation is thanks to the nine airflow-optimized fan blades and durable rifle-bearing technology.
Diagonally Arranged Fins
The small diagonal fins on the back of the cooler direct airflow to help guarantee efficient cooling for the CPU and components around the Intel or AMD socket.
Space-Saving Top-Flow Design
The top-flow design is suited for anyone who has to cope with limited space restrictions when building a system.

This should be a standard item in a new build. The stock intel cooler works fine thermally but is way too loud for a home office. This fixed that. You can barely hear it. The machine is not silent but the sound level is so low now it’s inconsequential and there is none of this ramp and down business you get with the much smaller intel stock cooler. All I have experienced is a constant sound no matter how hard I push the cpu. My desktop sounds more like a laptop now. Your experience may be different based on case and graphics card.
