Along with the enhanced resolution, this monitor also features a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 250 nits brightness rating, a 5 ms response time, and support for up to 1.07 billion colors. Setup is simple thanks to HDMI, DVI-DL, and DisplayPort inputs as well as a dedicated USB 3.0 hub to connect USB compatible peripherals directly to the display. 99% Adobe RGB
The Adobe RGB color space offers a greater range of color reproduction for shades of blue and green, resulting in a more realistic color representation for outdoor and nature photography.
10-Bit Color Display
Enjoy smooth color gradations on a 10-bit display which shows more than one billion colors.
14-Bit 3D LUT and Delta E ≤ 2
The 14-bit 3D Look Up Table (LUT) improves RGB color blending accuracy, resulting in improved color reproduction. Having Delta E≤2 in both Adobe RGB and sRGB color spaces gives you a true and representative view of the original image.
Hardware Calibration
Hardware calibration allows you to adjust the image processing chip in the monitor without changing the graphics card output data. It keeps images consistent with its original copies without being affected by graphic settings.
Palette Master Element Calibration Software
With the use of Palette Master Element and a calibrator, you can tune and maintain the color performance of the monitor at its most optimal state.
Extra Space for Viewing Convenience
Enjoy the extra space offered by the SW240's 24.1" 1920 x 1200 screen size with 16:10 ratio - perfect for professional photographers, or just daily usage. The SW240's slightly larger size is perfect for viewing two full A4 sized documents side by side, allowing photographers to compare the content at a glance.
Color Mode HotKey
The SW240's inbuilt Color Mode HotKey allows you to swiftly switch between 3 preset color modes without having to press other OSD buttons. And you can also customize your preferred preset modes based on your own personal display needs by pressing the HotKey for 5 seconds.
Advanced Black & White Mode
View your photos in a black and white film effect. Choose from three different black and white presets to preview your photos in before you perform actual adjustments in your photo processing program.
Shading Hood
A detachable shading hood is available as an optional accessory for SW240 which can effectively reduce the monitor's screen glare resulting from ambient lighting, ensuring superb color accuracy required for professional work. The shading hood can be used for both portrait and landscape orientations.

Exceeded Expectations...

Very pleased with this purchase. The stand is genius in the way it assembles. I prefer editing my photography with this monitor versus my 5k iMac. Two day delivery via Fed-Ex, super. All is well!

Best affordable photo colorspace monitor having AdobeRGB

By Tom

Best deal in an Adobe RGB color space monitor. For around $500 you can analyze on screen photographs meant for print and you can see what is really being put out for web work. It also has sRGB and B&W modes. One camera store suggested that the the AdobeRGB presented by the screen is fine without even calibrating it. The 24 size works since two pages position about the right size. With a 32 you are tempted to put up three pages side by side but they are then just a little too small. Next big screen I get will be a 37 to maybe fix the three page problem. I have bought twice from BenQ, first 32 monitor died early but overall I liked it so I bought another smaller one 24 since they cleared up the problems with the system board apparently and I love the overall look and features of their equipment. The stand allows many positions and the Side Wings keep stray light off the screen so make sure you buy them too as an option on the 24 but included with the 32. Also, the controls are easier to use than on most monitors. Thank you BenQ.

Best value in a AdobeRGB photography monitor.

For print photography the AdobeRGB color space is a must have since it is superior and more accurate for print making. This is the lowest cost AdobeRGB monitor I could find. It creates a beautiful picture using a 2k resolution. 4K is not usable with my MacMini and Mac Monterey so paying for that was no use to me. It has 60 hz scan rate that is a must for smooth mouse movement. The front panel controls are far superior to other monitors. It does not have the hokey puck controller that the more expensive Benq monitors have but you do not need it since the color space change is built into the first menu level of the front panel controls. The buttons to change features are easily placed directly below the menu display on the screen (this blows away other monitor's insanely hard to use built in controls. This monitor size is the beginning of the big monitors at 24. Its resolutions are 1920x 1080 (2k) the best of the older specifications or up to 2560x1440 (which Mac does not support in its finder since the fonts can not be made large enough to read). The 94ppi seems ok for a 2k monitor. Text is good enough that I can write emails easily. Turn on font smoothing and the fonts are fine (yet they still look a bit digital). At around $400 plus $100 for the side shade the total cost was about $544 with shipping for a true photographer's monitor which seems to be the best deal on the market at this time for a professional photographer's monitor with the necessary color space AdobeRGB.

Amazing Color and Accuracy

Got this from B&H after many failed attempts and weeks gone by trying to pick it up at Best Buy. NEVER AGAIN. I will order all of my electronic gear from B&H because of their reliability and quality. Anyhoo, on to the Monitor Review: Pros: 1. Amazing Color range and accuracy - Not even calibrated it is incredibly accurate in my latest prints. Even more accurate than my Dell Ultrasharp4k 10-bit monitor. 2. Responsiveness and design - Easy to use and seems well built. The buttons are easy to use and for the most part the menu is easy to understand and navigate. Switches inputs way quicker than my 4k Dell and easier. 3. Features - 10 bit - 14 bit LUT and wide color range for Adobe RGB 4. Picture quality - Superb. Even though it is not 4k the image is incredible crisp and the colors are phenomenal. Cons: 1. No USB-C - Could use more USB inputs 2. No 4k - Great for productivity but for detail I use my 4k Dell Overall I would Highly recommend - the 2k version (or 4k if you have the budget) might be a great solution to someone looking for a main high res monitor but this one is a great space saver, productivity monitor that can be a good reference for editing photos and videos that require accurate color specs if you need a supplemental monitor or need something small.

Great Monitor but terrible instruction!

Set-up monitor was easy but after that instructions were not much help. With Apple Mac pro book you need a HDMI to USB-C cable to connect monitor. I had to call BenQ 800 number the gave me two phone numbers to call for assistance. Once I got to the tech his was very patient and helpful. Nice monitor.
