The mini-ITX form factor of the Republic of Gamers Strix H370-I Gaming can support up to 32GB of RAM over two DIMM slots that can each hold 16GB of DDR4 2666, 2400, and 2133 MHz non-ECC unbuffered memory. It also supports dual-channel memory architecture and Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP).

The Republic of Gamers Strix H370-I has a total of 4 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports and 2 x M.2 Socket 3 slots with M key, with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10. Both M.2 slots support type 2242, 2260, and 2280 SSDs, while one slot supports PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs, and the other supports SATA and PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs. There are also two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, all on the rear panel, plus one internal USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector that supports an additional two ports, and one internal USB 2.0 connector that supports an additional two USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity is achieved using dual Ethernet ports (an Intel I219V Gigabit port and a Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit LAN port), as well as 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and additional wireless peripherals can be paired using Bluetooth 5.0 technology.
