Joystick control is featured on both the head and the app, enabling you to easily set start and end points.
Portable Motion Control
  • When using the full 180° tilt, the Genie II head can support up to 6.61 lb, and up to 13.23 lb if only the middle 90° are being used. Weighing just 4.25 lb, this lightweight head is designed for portability.
  • It snaps easily into the separately available Genie II Linear's integrated quick release system to create a 3-axis motion control head for your slider.
Interfaces
  • Interface features include three USB-C ports, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and a color LCD window.
Mobile Control
  • App functions include Bulb Ramping for day-to-night time-lapse exposure, Simple Setup, Live View, 360° Time-Lapse, Multi-Row Panorama, and more.
  • Be sure to check the Syrp website for the latest camera control compatibility.
Note:
An additional Shutter Link Cable is required to trigger the camera in some required modes, including time-lapse and panorama. Otherwise, camera control is available and requires the USB cable that comes with your camera, which can also enable standard triggering.
Camera Quick Release
  • A USB-C cable adapter is included for plugging in your camera for app-controlled shutter release, and a quick release plate is included for securing your camera.

Does the Genie II Motorized Pan/Tilt head come with it's own battery? And can the unit be powered via a usb battery brick?
Asked by: Jeff
HI Jeff, Yes, Genie II Pan TIlt comes with it's own battery and additional batteries can be purchased. A recent firmware updates allows Genie II to be powered by battery banks. Most battery banks have a USB-A port on them and the ones that dont have USB-C so yes they will charge. Cheers, Liz

Will there be a mode to set different targets and ...

Will there be a mode to set different targets and then select from a list of targets? One mode that would be helpful is where pan/tilt/slide get all configured as a posed. And then another mode is needed where one can set the target "object," but continue a slide and it'll track that object and adjust pan/tilt so that the object target is always focused on. It would be great to add photos with the mobile for each "pose" or "target."
Asked by: Philipp
Hi Philipp, Thanks for your question and my apologies for the delay in response. At the moment, there is no option for target tracking. This has been discussed by the development team and may be implemented down the line however there is no set ETA for this. We appreciate this feedback and I will be sure to log your request with the development team so they are aware there is demand for such a feature. Cheers, Liz

The description lists WiFi as a connection method, but the manual does not address WiFi. Does it have a built-in Wi-Fi source?
Asked by: James
The connection to your camera would be wired using a shutter cable to your camera.. And control is done via the Genie app using Bluetooth. The Syrp Genie II Motorized Pan/Tilt Head does not support Wi-Fi connections..
