What makes it blink all the lights blink when I plug it in and it won't keep a charge
Asked by: Deneice
Here's what's supposed to happen. The 4 lights show the charging status. When all 4 lights are solidly lit, the charge is full. When it's between 3/4 and full, you should see 3 solid and one blinking light. Between 1/2 and 3/4 full, you should see 2 solid and one blinking light. The lights also flash briefly when you turn the unit on but you have nothing connected to draw power from it, then it shuts off. I don't have them anymore, but I recall that the instructions that came with the unit describe what the lights mean. Try giving it a full charge using the power cable it came with, get all 4 lights to solid on, and see if it gives you the performance you expect. It should be able to charge a typical cell phone about 2-3 times without needing a recharge. That said, there's a chance that it's defective if it won't hold a charge, regardless of what the lights say. Good luck!
