question

Is there a place where I can just buy the plastic case shown in pictures?
Asked by: Myles P.
Unfortunately, we dont carry that filter case separately. You could look at the B+W Plastic Filter Case D. It would be able to accommodate a circular filter up to 82mm.

question

Is it same the polarizer that comes with Vu Filters 150mm Filter Holder and Sion Circular Polarizer Kit ?
Asked by: Eugene Y.
No it is not. The polarizer from the VFHSCPOL150 is a specially designed optic for the VFH150. The 105mm Sion Circular Polarizer is a standard 105mm threaded filter for lenses with 105mm threads

question

is this filter threaded so that I can screw another filter onto it once it is screwed into the camera lens?
Asked by: Steven L.
No this filter does not have front threads. As a note, it is not recommended with a ten stop filter to use stack filters. The chances of getting flair or color shifts increases by stacking and especially on a ten stop filter.

question

How does the VU compare with the B+W?
Asked by: David S.
Both brands are rated very high as filters go. And within each brand there are ones that are multi-coated and not. In general it is important that a filter be multi-coated. That helps limit flair. Optically they again are very good but some prefer B+W over the other. And just a note that the specific Vu filter does not have front threads.
