Each stand has a sturdy narrow but wide base instead of legs to optimize conservation of space. The setup also comes with two telescoping crossbars that extend to 10.4' - one to connect and support the stands at base height and the other on the top of the stands to hold the background. Promo Background Stand is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing and flimsy. I never write reviews but I was so disappointed by this product I had to warn others. First the assembly is not as easy as it would seem. Each crossbar comes in two pieces with a third connector tube holding the two together. There should be sleeve in one of the crossbar pieces for the other to slip into or the crossbars should be one piece. Second, there is a small 1/4inch screw that holds the uprights to the base. It's separate from the base and upright polls and it uses a hex key to tighten it. Both the screws and hex key are easy to loose. Third it's flimsy when fully assembled. When I assembled it to 8 ft high by 10ft wide the frame easily twisted with any josel or bump. When it did twist it would also bend the 1/2 screw holding the crossbars to the uprights. Stay away from this product.
