JVC GY-HC900 Reviews

Excellent ENG Camera

By Lee
Rated 5 out of 5
Date: 2021-03-05

I give the JVC HC900 5-Stars! Excellent Camera all the way around. Caution....The on camera microphone requires a 5-pin XLR connection. The nearest 3-pin XLR jacks are located in the rear of the camera below the battery. If you purchase a 5-pin male to 3-pin female XLR cable, it will need to be at least 16 in length. Weight is about 18.6lbs with battery.

For the JVC GY-HC900CHU 2/3- HD Connected Camcorder, a Unislot receiver can be connected through the Unislot port. The Lectrosonics SRc/SMWB Dual Transmitter and Receiver with Unislot Camera Mount ENG Kit, should work well for this function. https://bhpho.to/2uFvP9O
