question

Will this work on a Sony a7s2 (hdmi signal) transmitting to a SDI only monitor? will it convert the signal on its own?
Asked by: Agustn
The Cinegears Ghost-Eye supports HDMI to SDI cross conversion. You will be able to put an HDMI signal in to the transmitter and connect the receiver to an SDI monitor.

question

What about power consumption?
Asked by: Anonymous
You can power these by small battery, big battery or AC power. V mount or gold mount should last the shoot day. Smaller batteries should last about 3-4 hours depending on how you use them.

question

Is this kit working smoothly and well by sending the signal from the hdmi out port of the atomos ninja flame ? (I know for example that paralinx have some compatibilities problems) Thanks!
Asked by: Joaquim B.
We have not heard of configuration problems such as you mentioned. That is not to say they do not exist but that we have not heard of them. We can say we see no glaring reasons why this would not work as you wish.

question

This unit is compatible with cameras blackmagic 2.5k, 4K, Ursa, Ursa mini, Sony FS7, FS5, FS700, EX3, and all RED ???Do you have any feedback on the reliability of this product?
Asked by: Benjamin V.
Since this unit has both SDI and HDMI inputs and can read all common FPS rates, we are of the opinion that this should work with all of the cameras you mentioned. No feedback here yet as to reliability.

latency?

latency?
Asked by: Hayk
In our experience, the latency changed depending on how far away the unit was from the receiver. However, even with the transmitter right next to the receiver the image was incredibly grainy and glitchy. When we tried real-world applications with it was not usable whatsoever.
