Aimed at photographers who want quick access to their gear, the black Pro Light FastTrack-8 Sling Bag from Manfrotto fits your DSLR or mirrorless camera plus two extra lenses and other accessories. Its design is distinguished by an adjustable camera strap, which rests on top of the main shoulder strap and can hold your equipment as you take pictures or switch lenses. Quick release buckles with string loops are used to attach to the lugs on your body, which move freely on the strap so you can keep your camera ready at the waist or quickly pull it to your face to frame a shot.

Three zippered compartments are available for storing your gear, featuring loops on their zipper tabs so they can be secured with an optional padlock. The bottom pocket is dedicated to holding your camera with its lens attached, while the top pouch is flat and ideal for an 11" tablet or small laptop. On the side, the third compartment can hold two prime lenses or flashes plus small accessories such as batteries and memory cards. The FastTrack bag is made of durable Ripstop fabric that is both water- and tear-resistant, and can be easily lugged around with its integrated cross-body strap or carried by hand via a top handle.

  • Sling backpack that holds a DSLR or mirrorless system, 2 extra lenses, a tablet, and other small accessories
  • Adjustable top strap connects to your camera via quick release buckles, allowing you to shoot intermittently or easily switch lenses
  • Keep your camera ready at the waist, then pull it towards your face to frame your photo

Pro Light FastTrack-8 Sling Bag (Black) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Bag A great compact sling bag. Well made; enough storage if you're out for a walk and want to bring some lenses with you; comfortable; and the pockets are easy to access. I love that it has a built-in strap to attached the camera so I don't have multiple straps slung around my shoulders. It's not big enough if you're out on a shoot and need to bring a lot of equipment and accessories. The camera pocket will fit my Nikon D200 with battery pack or with a lens but not both. Well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please Indicate DSLR Size clearly This bag is super for the cropped DSLR but not anywhere roomy enough for a full frame camera. My Nikon D810 is a real squeeze to get it into the side opening; with a lens attached it's a problem. Bought this bag to carry my camera with an attached Nikon 80mp x 400mp lens to carry on my back while hiking, riding (horses), etc. Had to gut the interior to make this combination fit. Forget about adding battery charger and extra batteries. This was the third bag I ordered, all stating it was for a DSLR . . . Have to rethink this problem. I wish to travel; I'm only 5' 2" and a female. Some of the packs are designed for males and are too big for my size. Thank goodness for B&H. Their return policy is super, especially when you have to shop on-line. Without actually seeing a bag before purchasing leaves much to the imagination.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well-thought-out, but both smaller and bigger than expected I've been shooting out of a Think Tank TurnStyle 20 sling bag for a few years, so this caught my eye as an interesting variation on that theme. It looked like it would be a bit slimmer, and the built-in strap and integrated pocket for the camera looked interesting. First, the good: the bag is very well-made, with lots of nice touches, particularly the security loops for the side zippers and the integrated buckle on the zippers and thick security loop for the camera compartment. All components are of high quality and work as you'd expect. Unfortunately, the bag just doesn't work for me. Because of how the interior is laid out, with the integrated compartment for the camera at one end, the remaining interior space is VERY tight. I could get my normal shooting kit - Olympus E-M1 II with 12-40 in the camera compartment; Laowa 7.5mm, Sigma 30mm 1.4, Olympus 75mm 1.8; Olympus flash; E-PL5 emergency backup - in the bag, but not without a lot of coaxing, and it was too tight to allow for easy lens changes while shooting. There are enough pockets for batteries and other small items, though. While the interior is very tight, once the bag is packed, it really isn't visually much slimmer on the body than the TurnStyle. The integrated strap, which is an intriguing idea, isn't as elegant in practice as you'd hope. I'm used to shooting primarily with wrist straps (since my kit is fairly small), and immediately encountered issues with trying to shoot in portrait orientation with the integrated strap on the bag - one of the attached straps is always in the way. In the end, my wrist straps just work better for my kit. So, the search goes on for a replacement for the TurnStyle 20 - it may be that the version 2 of that bag is next on my list. Full marks to Manfrotto for trying something interesting and different with the FastTrack-8, but it just didn't work for me. If your mirrorless kit is small - say, a wide to normal (or short tele) zoom and a longer zoom, plus a flash, the FastTrack might work well for you. Go beyond two lenses, though, and I think the interior is just too small, while also not being as slim as some of the photos suggest.
