Poly Blackwire 3225 Reviews

Excellent headset. Limited durability.

I have a C3220 for over two years and can state two things: the ear pads last for a year of use, then you'll have to replace them. The headset orange cord starts to show wear after a year and a half and become sticky after 2 years of use, when the silicone or PVC cable sheath simply starts to crack everywhere. I am here trying to find a new cord so I can replace myself but something tells me I won't succeed. Despite that, the sound quality of this headset is hardly matched by others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have a mute and answer call button is comfortable for any PC meeting and call. The microphone works perfect, the noise filtration is excellent in a busy environment. What I see can be improved is the ears pads, if taking a long meeting (1+ hour) became uncomfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this headset have exceeded my expectations, all in one headset. I have enjoyed the plug/play capabilities with mac pc and mobile phone, for me is extremely versatile. I been taking phone calls with my phone (using an adapter usb to usb-c) and the calls are extremely clear on my end but the ear phone part could be a bit louder, also video calls work great on mobile phone. I have also use it with my computer and it works well when connected to it, I can listen to music and have the ability to answer video calls and regulars calls with my computer. Listening to music is not the greatest but is good enough. The in-line remote could use some tactile markings for easier use. Since I haven't experience ear fatigue this headset it's extremely light. The headset adapts to just about any environment if you don't mind the cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headset is very lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. The audio quality is great. The ear cushions feel a little cheap and I can’t recommend this headset for a noisy environment but in a quiet home office it’s perfect for soft phone and conferencing applications. The on cable buttons are great. Easy muting with audible alert, volume adjustment and call end.

Decent option for short-term use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headband adjusts nicely for fit though both the band and foam are a bit thin for long-term use. The microphone sounded fairly clear on both calls and recordings without too much blowout. I would recommend it for short video calls but nothing beyond an hour or so. Sound quality is decent.

Too expensive. The 3.5 plug to the volume control is nice, however the way Poly design it only a matching Poly headset can be used with it.

Plantronics - Blackwire 3220 has cheap product materials. The headset cord started showing tears.... cracked at many places after about a year.
