question
To an Expert familiar with the EV drive system with the G-Tech SATA to Firewire Adapter: Would this offer any advantages as compared to using regular SATA Internal drives and using my Odyssey Q drive dock?I have both Firewire 800 and E-Sata Ports on the dock, and have storage cases for the drives, so is this faster or easier - or more reliable - to make changing my storage workflow worthwhile? If you don't KNOW for sure, please don't give me your opinion.Thanks.
The drives are going to be fastest through the Sata connection, then USB 3. Firewire is just for legacy systems. It is a much slower connection, 800Mb/s max vs 3 or 6GB/s max depending on your sata.

question
Also, judging by the product photos, it would appear that the USB 3.0 output type on the drive is Micro-B, so I'm assuming one end of the included cable is Micro-B. My question is, what type is the other end?
Standard USB
