    Billingham Hadley reviews

Hadley Large FiberNyte Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Chocolate Leather Trim) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will love it !!! This bag is big enough to carry all this stuff : canon 5D mkII, canon 70-200 f2.8 IS + 1.4X, canon 50 f1.2, canon 24 f1.4, canon 24-70 f2.8 mkII, canon 100 f2.8 IS macro, canon Speedlite 430EX, extra battery with charger, 4 filters, 3 CF cards, macbook air. The quality is great. When the bag is fully loaded, the strap is uncomfortable. You will need the shoulder pad (SP-20) if you expect to carry the bag for a long period. You can remove the insert (with all the stock inside) to use the bag to carry other things than camera gear. The price is higher than the majority of camera bag, but you will have much more than the others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bag I've had in a while... I use this bag to carry my books and 15 inch laptop in. I also use it to carry my Nikon D500 and two lenses. The bag is incredibly sturdy. The pockets in the front are much bigger than I imagined them to be. They even expand if you want them too. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the bag. I like that it doesn't look like a typical clunky camera bag. The only drawback to this bag is that there isn't a convenient space for my collapsable 50 in tripod. It collapses down to 16 in, but there isn't any space for it when I use the insert for my camera materials.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best DSLR or mirrorless case I've found. I have used this bag for over 20 years, and it's just now beginning to look a bit worn. It is lightweight, has successfully seen my SLRs through the heaviest rainstorms, served as a travel bag and camera bag combination, stays relatively clean but has been successfully hand-washed to eliminate the dirt that any fabric bag might pick up on a smooth surface. Nothing I've tried of this approximate size holds as much as comfortably. Many smaller mirrorless bags won't easily handle my Black Rapid strap. The bag's strap is long, wide and sturdy, and the buckles make it appear difficult to open by a pickpocket, while in reality, all it requires is pulling the straps off their pins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great (and darn stylish) Camera Bag! After watching Kai (DigitalRev from Youtube) review/sport this classy bag, I just had to pick it up for its functionality, quality, and style. This is the bag that I use for my Canon 7D w/50mm 1.4, a telephoto lens, a speedlite, and my new Fujifilm x10. Not only do all of these items fit, the ergonomics of the bag make my items feel incredibly lighter due to the thin yet durable canvas. Pros - Very stylish design that can pass off as a regular, fashionable messenger bag. - Easy to open straps. - Very spacious interior with plenty of cushion for your camera. - Reasonable Price - Great quality leather and materials used Cons - Canvas material attracts dog hair very easily

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Bit More Room Can hold my D810 with 24-85VR, 70-200/4 (with TC1.4), and either 16-35/VR or two primes (28/1.8 and/or 20/1.8 and/or 14/2.8) and one more small-medium prime, Plus spare batteries, cards, phone and glasses. I can use the RRS L-Bracket on the D810, but it's a bit tight. I don't miss the handle on top and the bag looks and feels smaller without it. (vs a smaller Hadley). The more I use the tab closures on the Billingham bags, the better I like them. The hold tight, are easy to use and quiet. The bags is waterproof without other bags to carry. They should provide the shoulder pad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems using Hadley shoulder Bag I am a Pro user, wanted a more attractive bag which I thought might initially impress or attract new clients. The bag is attrctive, well made, and sized well, but has one major defect: the leather closures on the top flap are not very secure, and easily opened, unlike the locking plastic closure on the better LowePro, Tamrac, etc. bags. I can't take the chance of a lens or body falling out of a partially open, or open bag, and and often in industrial ( factories, showrooms, outdoor sites)locations where the bag gets bounced around and secure closures are essential.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Camera Bag for On-The-Go Shooting There's just the right amount of room for a large DSLR camera body and three essential lenses. It's easy and fast to flip open the top and quickly grab your equipment without worrying about zippers or anything metal that might scratch. The bag, when full of equipment, is a very manageable size for moving around even in a crowd. It happens to be very attractive looking, a classic design, and extremely sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality! I previously bought a Lowepro Slingshot Bag, but just found it was not very convenient when you need to change lens. So I've been looking for a messenger bag to use as a camera bag (although not padded like camera bags) and came across this great product! Very confortable, enough room to carry two cameras, some lenses and accessories, weather resistant (does not have to cover it like Lowepro) and not to mention very stylish! A bit expensive but definitely it was worth every penny.
