question

Using the DJI Mavic controller, how far can the unit be flown safely? I am thinking of an island that is about 1.37 miles from where the controller would be.
Asked by: Stanford L.
I have used such a Mavic Air, but it is not faithful to the distance of 4000 meters. Filled with batteries, the drone tells me I have to go back 900 meters. The battery is new, I don't know how it works, I'm not sure. Thank you

question

What is the difference between the regular Mavic Air and the Combo?
Asked by: Michele M.
Why didn't he respect the distance. I have an air mavic in use, and the farthest distance says 4000 meters away. It happened to me that at a distance of 905 meters, he said I had to return home, a weak signal. What do you tell me how to increase the distance since I had full bats.

What if you want to use it close to a lake? Is this product waterproof or maybe there's a waterproof case?
Asked by: Rodolfo
Not waterproof. Fly with caution and keep line of sight on drone. Be sure you know where and which home-point is set (it is difficult to do on moving watercraft) so I would not recommend any homepoint aside from shore. DJI will not cover replacement if item cannot be returned. Hope this helps; Fly Safe!
