This version has 54mm threads to match the threads on the eyepiece, with 58mm threads to fit on your lens' filter thread. Connecting the two components with this adapter makes a strong and secure fit, without tilt, for better performance. This kind of photography works best with telephoto lenses, rather than wide-angle lenses, and if the camera lens is smaller than the lens of the eyepiece. When using the Hyperion Zoom eyepiece the Hyperion Zoom M43/SP54 adapter is required; and when using the Morpheus eyepiece the Morpheus M43/SP54 adapter is required.
