ProGrade Digital 128GB UHS-II SDXC overview

  • 1Description

The 128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) from ProGrade Digital features a storage capacity of 128GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support maximum read speeds of 250 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 200 MB/s. This card has also been designed with the V90 Video Speed Class rating, which guarantees minimum write speeds of at least 90 MB/s, allowing the card to be used in DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, and digital cinema cameras that produce rich data streams, including 6K, 4K, UHD 4K, and high bit rate MPEG-4 video. It is also well-suited for raw photos and rapid-fire bursts.

UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Built for extreme conditions, ProGrade Digital's 128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) is able to withstand temperatures from -13 to 185°F, allowing you to take this card with you into extreme environments, such as snow and deserts. A built-in write protect switch helps to safeguard your content from being erased.

ProGrade Digital 128GB UHS-II SDXC reviews

    128GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not reliable at all I have purchased multiple of their v60 and v90 cards at the B&H store in NY for using them with the GH5S and the Sony Alpha 7 III. Non of them work reliable! I get card errors and recording does stop randomly. Very unhappy as I am traveling and will not be able to return them any soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problem from the beginning I ordered this pack because B&H had them in stock. Normally in stock items ship immediately. It took almost a week before shipping. I finally got them, one card recorded images (500) and then stopped working. The second card didn't work from the beginning. ProGrade stepped up to fix the issue when B&H customer service didn't. I do have other ProGrade cards that work flawlessly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THESE CARDS!!!! I had a previous card fail and sent back to the Manufacturer as B&H would not initially honour the return. After extensive testing I kept the second card but today after filming my father and son meeting for the first time and then shooting the largest flyover in history over Buckingham palace the card completely failed. I had been recording and playing back as expected then completely randomly it didnt close the last clip and the error message came up to PLEASE FORMAT THE CARD. DO NOT BUY THESE CARDS.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They suck When they worked they were really fast but when I was shooting at a concert the whole card became corrupted and I lost everything and even data recovery programs could not fix it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAD CARDS I had a two days shooting in NYC with an important client of mine, that I was shooting on a Lumix GH5, I used the brand new memory cards ProGrade 128 GB V90 UHS-II on the entire production. On the second day of the shooting, an error message appeared on the camera, saying the card has to be formated in order to keep recording. I placed that first card in its original pocket and then I used the second memory card I had (ProGrade 128 GB V90 UHS-II), and after a while shooting, the same message appeared once again. I did not want to alert the client about this error message, since I thought there might be some ways to recover the footage through some data recovery softwares. Once I got back home with the cards, I tried one of the data recovery software I had. But unfortunately, I was unable to recover any of the footage. Then I called a representative at ProGrade Digital to check what was the options. They asked me to send the memory cards and they would try with their software recovery tools. Few weeks later, I had an answer from ProGrade Digital Support saying That the engineering team were unable to retrieve any files. As a compensation, the team sent me back my two error cards with an extra card. So bad service, bad products. I would not buy any other ProGrade Digital products anymore.
