They are both working on the same processor as well as the same Sony color science so the color out of both would be very similar.

If you use Sony Viewer software to view Raw file *.ARW at 100% zoom, do you experience any graininess / not tack sharp? Thank you.
I don’t use Sony Viewer. I prefer to use Capture One. I have not experienced the graininess or lack of sharpness. I am not sure about your shooting settings or conditions but I think the graininess may be a function of shooting in extremely low light at high ISO and the lack of sharpness may be movement related. It again depends on what your shutter speed is set to and the shooting conditions. I hope this helps

Hi, I work with the camera attached to a macbook pro and C1, what is the transfer speed that has working with the computer attached, what port do you use for that?
When you attach the a9 to tether it, you will use a micro USB
to USB A cable and put it in "PC Remote" mode. Then you use the free Sony Imaging Edge software to control it. This allows you to make camera setting changes as well as preview the image. You can also have it automatically send the photos you take to your computer.
All that being said what performance do you get? That is limited to USB 2 speeds unfortunately. There is another option to connect an Ethernet cable and have it send the photos automatically to an FTP server. You can also use wifi to your photo, but that makes it difficult to get it to your computer live when your tethering workflow in studio is more a live workflow.
All of this has workflow has been greatly improved on the A9 Mark II, it's notably the main things they improved.
