A few issues
Apart from being over priced one should note the front diffuser blocks a full stop of light. When paired with the Godox VL150 you don't get enough light in many situations. Getting a thinner diffuser is impossible because there are no spear parts! Really? Quit disappointing...
Extremely Handy
I do a lot of shoots on location, so I need to set up and tear down the softboxes each time. These pop open and are ready to go in under a minute, a huge time saver.
A Game Changer for Me!
Been a serious landscape photographer now for well over 10 years but I wanted to get more into portrait and still life photography. On my first test with the Rapid Box 2 x 3 paired with the Westcott FJ400, I was really impress and pleased with the results. To test lighting on a subject whenever I wanted to, I purchased an inexpensive manican head. The shot attached (using just the 1 light source with no reflectors for fill) was my first attempt using the FJ400 and 2 x 3 Rapid Box. By no means am I a pro at this but for a start I was fairly pleased. Will be doing my first 1-Light portrait shoot this weekend and I'm going in pretty confident with what I should expect for results. This is a game-changer for me!
Works like a charm
Setup is easy, breakdown just as easy. Inner baffle held securely in place. Very convenient and adequate lighting size for still life photography. Items comes in a very nice travel case. I would definitely buy again. No complaints from me.
