Monitor works great but shipment was rough

The monitor came in and it was packaged as if it was a refurbished monitor. Cables were loosely put into the box, monitor screen did seem like it was packaged from the factory, but the other items not so much. The box took on a lot of damage in the shipment and the foam insert also was cracked. As of yesterday, I finally got around to setting up the monitor and it is functional at this time. Might be writing a different review in the future.

Great monitor but finicky power cable connection.

It's a great monitor but I've discovered that the power cable disconnects from the monitor very easily causing it to turn off at random. It seems to happen every time I adjust the monitor's height or pivot it on the stand. Otherwise, great monitor.

Great Monitor to have with some caveats

This is a great all-round monitor to have to connect to multiple sources (two desktops, cable, video-game console, etc). Quality screen, adjustable heights, rotational view and so on. The caveats to know that wasn't clear when purchasing: - You need to buy a speaker (if you don't have any) to connect to the monitor - As described when buying there's only 1 HDMI port, 1 Display port and 1 mini display port and a USB-C port. It comes with some cords to use but depending on what you're connecting to the monitor, you may need to get an adapter or another cord. (SO BE PREPARED FOR THAT.)

I have used the HP Z27 with HDMI from a laptop and USB-C from a desktop and the quality and performance is outstanding and ease of use exceeded my high expectations. I have spent too many years in front of computer displays from early CRT terminals to this current gem and it is by far the best image quality and ease of use. A pleasure to use!

This is another monitor for the home office, for my wife. I love mine and wanted to get her one as well. I love that I can plug in all the peripherals in to the monitor and have a single plug for the computer, a charging plug!

This is not a true 10-bit display; it is an 8+2 FRC display. FRC is "frame rate control", a form of temporal dithering commonly used in TFT and IPS displays---in short, the monitor can accept a 10-bit image from your computer, and the panel itself is 8-bit. The monitor shows the extra two bits of color information (colors "between" those that can be represented using 8 bits) by rapidly cycling between 8-bit colors.
