Anyone with a wide frame knows the struggle of backpack straps sliding off your shoulders. This strap fixes that, plain & simple. Hefty, sturdy, all of that. 10 bucks. Can't go wrong

Lost the original that came with my travel backpack during a trip. Spent a month and a half using the backpack on jobs and was sorely missed. Ordered at the first chance I had between shoots, PeakDesign got it to me so fast even with it being a coast 2 coast shipping.

Lost my original strap for the Travelpack 45. Loaded with gear, it really helps keep things comfortable.

As a sternum strap, it works great. The problem is that it is not physically attached to the bag, so if you are not super careful, the strap can get caught on an airport xray roller, the back of your rolling bag, a jacket, etc. and it will fly off never to be seen again. These newer ones seem to have a little loop that you could possibly tie a string around, but there's no convenient place to secure it to the bag.

I have a Manfrotto camera backpack that I have loved for a number of years, but it was a bit awkward at times when loaded or I was out and about for a few hours. Got this sternum strap and it has made an unbelievable difference! Hiked for hours and was amazed how much more comfortable it was. Then I apparently dropped it when loading the car to return home. Ordered two as soon as I realized it back home. And of course, B&H is the best!

I got a replacement one of these, only because I had a different bag and I wanted a great sternum strap. I knew the peak design one was solid and I just added it to the non peak design bag. It works great. I looked at a lot of other strap options online and this is still the best one I felt to go with.
