Or, you can use one Thunderbolt 3 port for power delivery up to 5V at 3A, or 15W, allowing you to charge a phone or tablet.

Housed in an aluminum chassis, the T34 is designed to fit alongside desktop workstations. Additionally, a Mini DisplayPort allows for the use of an extra monitor. Drive performance can be monitored using LED indicators on the front of the unit, as well as the built-in S.M.A.R.T. software. Air cooled, the T34 utilizes two 80mm fans and an integrated power supply. A Kensington lock slot is present on the back of the enclosure. Compatible with Windows 8 and later and macOS X 10.10 and later, the T34 requires a minimum of 600MB of free space.

Thunderbolt 3 Connectivity

Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 GB/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 GB/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.

Multiple RAID Levels

Take advantage of RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, and JBOD modes and hardware settings to optimize your storage. Choose from RAID 0 for speed, JBOD for space, or RAID 1 or 5 for varying levels of redundancy. RAID 10 combines both speed and redundancy at the expense of storage capacity.

Hardware RAID Controller

Avoid bogged-down disks and sluggish software thanks to a hardware RAID controller, which allows the T34 to focus resources on faster read and write times.

Status Monitoring

The Rocpro T34's built-in S.M.A.R.T. testing software records product status and tests drive quality. If drive conditions are dangerous, audible alerts will sound in the form of a buzzer or beep. Additionally, the system also issues an email warning as part of the alert.
