Boasting numerous features and a modular design, the Cobra 2 A150-II Aluminum Monopod from iFootage has just about everything you could want from a monopod. Let's cover the basics first. The 4-section support uses buckle-like leg locks, rises to a maximum height of 59.1", and supports gear weighing up to 17.6 lb, while folding down to a compact 24.4". The mounting base has both 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads, allowing it to use virtually any tripod head. Besides the basics, the A150-II has a unique combination of advanced convenience features. The head mounting base, for example, has a quick release with sliding action that can be operated with one hand, making removal of the head simple. The monopod's base has 3 feet to stabilize your camera, that use a ball that allows 0-90 degrees of tilt. The base has a lock and a knob to adjust the friction appropriate to the weight of your camera. The feet also have a simple button that allows you to fold them up or to select 20, 50, or 78-degree angles as the terrain demands. In fact, the entire base-foot section is removable and can be used as low-angle minipod if needed.

iFootage A150-II Reviews
Possible design defect with Quick-Release Plate
The first iFootage Cobra 2 A150-II Aluminum Monopod I received had a quick-release plate that would not release at all. No issues releasing the tripod. I also have the carbon fiber version of this same monopod, which I will note has had no issues with the quick-release plate. I returned the monopod for a replacement, which *also* has a quick-release plate that will not release (but has a functioning quick-release for the tripod base). I can confirm that both monopods received were new and not returns, all plastic packaging such as for the instruction manual was in sealed condition. My best guesses are one of two possible causes: design tolerances are too tight between the quick-release plate and the monopod, or else the ball-bearings in the quick-release are not moving freely and not retracting the locking parts.
One Super mono pod.
I had been looking for a good mono pod with a foot. I found a great one in this one. You'll love it.

Very sturdy. Does its job well.
Having switched to carbon fiber tripods and monopods, this is a strange but welcome back to aluminum. Yes, its slightly heavier than carbon fiber counterparts. But if you have a huge DSLR with 70-200mm F2.8 to hold while you snap, the mass of this monopod makes all the difference. This also comes in carbon fiber option, but like other reviewers before me, the stiffness in the aluminum really helps. If you are looking for something feathery light, this is not for you.
Great addition to a gimbal
This thing is solid, and works great alongside my gimbal. Between the two I am able to get most shots I need, and stay portable. Love the build quality on this unit, fully extended its solid
Shipped on time, best money spent lately
This thing is very solid. never thought about a monopod until I was looking for a way to accessorize a gimbal. Threw away the cheap gimbal tripod since I can just unclip the head and remove the main body. Build quality is great. Its not a tripod, so be careful in strong winds. Offers a lot of flexibility in a light weight solution for the back pack
Excellent choice
This monopod is everything the reviews claimed it would be. It is excellent. The only thing I could recommend is that it had a way to indicate with it was plumb when returning it upright.
A photographers must have
I already had purchase a monopod from a different manufacturer but after watching a few YouTube videos I just had to see if all the hype was true. I could not find anything I don’t like. Bag is well made even to fit my monopod head. Love the fact I can also use the legs as a separate high hat or as I call it a mini pod. My brand if and when I go for the tripod.
