- Use mSATA SSDs in 2.5" SATA Drive Bays
- Supports 25mm & 50mm mSATA Drives
- Supports Pass-Through for External Use
- Aluminum Enclosure Provides Protection
The mSATA to 2.5" SATA III Adapter from Sabrent allows mSATA SSDs to be used in 2.5" SATA drive bays. The adapter fits one 25mm or 50mm mSATA SSD and connects to your host system using its SATA III 6 Gb/s interface. A pass-through design also allows this adapter to be used externally, via a separately sold USB to SATA cable. Built using aluminum, this adapter helps protect against drops, shock, and dust. To help get you up and running and make installation into a 2.5" drive bay more user-friendly, screws are included.

Can this be used to copy an mSATA with an OS installed to a new mSATA with a SATA to USB adapter and the new mSATA intalled in laptop where old one was? Any advice on doing this? uh, thanks *thumbs up + good karma*
Yes, the Sabrent mSATA to 2.5" SATA III Adapter BH #SAECMSSA would allow you to use it to clone an mSATA SSD to another one. I would recommend using the free version of Macrium reflect. That will allow you to clone the old SSD to the new one. Once that is done, you can install the new one and it should boot up from there.
