The lens I have says it works with Adaptall-2 mount system. Will this adapter work with my Sony E mount camera?
Asked by: James
Yes the FotodioX Mount Adapter for Tamron Adaptall Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera will adapt an Apdatall -2 lens to the Sony E mount system. This is a manual adapter. It does not support lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body.

I have the sony a7rii. I want to purchase the Tamron Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 LD Aspherical IF Super Manual Focus Adaptall Lens, will this adapter be the one to purchase? I know it's all manual. The size weight and zoom range is intriguing. And the price point is great.

Asked by: Olu
The FotodioX Mount Adapter for Tamron Adaptall Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera is incompatible with the Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens. The adapter is for discontinued Tamron Adaptall Lenses. If you have the Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens for Canon EF, BH #TA2470C, get the Metabones Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter (Fifth Generation), BH #MEMBEFEBT5.

Will this allow me to use my Tamron Di II with my Sony a7iii ?
Asked by: Darrell
No, tamron adaptall lenses are are series of almost vintage lenses with their own Mount which this adapter is for. Your lens is a bit more modern I believe and will have is regular mount ie canon, Nikon etc. also this adapter is not electronic so even if it did connect you would lose autofocus. Try figure out what Mount your lens is and then get an adapter from that to Sony E-Mount (sometimes called NEX)
