You can record footage from up to 200' away, but you can fly your PL3100 drone from up to 492' away. Headless Mode with Auto-Return
Headless Mode makes flying the PL3100 quadcopter a little more straightforward for those without a lot of experience. With Headless Mode activated, the drone's "front" is oriented relative to the controller, and not the actual front of the drone. So regardless of which way the drone is facing, moving forward on the remote will move the drone forward. With this feature activated, you can also utilize an auto-return function to bring the drone back to you.
