It is very sturdy and should serve my needs well. My only criticism is with the part that attaches to a spud: the item has a pin, which is good for how it was originally intended; but I intend to use it on top of a Mole-Richardson Baby Size Standard Wheeled Stand, so I was hoping for a knob with threads to tighten it onto the stand. There are no threads in the holes on that part of the clamp, so I can't even add one. Other than that, though, I like it.
