DPA Microphones d:vote Core 4099 Overview

The pair of d:vote Core 4099 Microphones, Loud SPL, Stereo System Kit for Accordion from DPA is designed to capture audio from your instrument for live sound and recording applications. The clips for accordion can be adjusted by one hand and is optimized to attach itself gently to your instrument to prevent damage and marks.

Each Core 4099 microphone has a pre-polarized condenser capsule with a supercardioid polar pattern. Their 5.5" goosenecks allow for a variety of positioning possibilities and terminate with MicroDot connectors. They include cables and XLR adapters providing compatibility with mixers and sound reinforcement systems.

Can anyone comment on low frequency or bass sounds recording off piano? The solitary youtube comparison video makes this system sound anemic compared with Earthworks. Thnx

If you were comparing these to the Earthworks PM40 Piano system, you may be hearing more resonance in the PM40's lows due to its extended low frequency range. The PM40 can pickup as low as 9hz, where as the DPA's low's start at 80hz.
