The Intel Core i7-8700T Processor is designed to work with light and robust workloads with its provided six cores, each of which operate between 2.4 and 4.0 GHz. The processor's integrated Intel Hyper-Threading technology includes 12 threads that allow each core to handle two instruction threads for running multi-threaded applications. Furthermore, Intel's high-functioning Core i7-8700T processor can handle intensive tasks like digital content editing and multimedia streaming. When you need enhanced performance, you can overclock Intel's cores to function above its maximum frequency.

Intel has equipped its Core i7-8700T processor with an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 chipset that outputs up to 4K resolution through a motherboard's HDMI and DisplayPort. When connected to a compatible monitor, the Intel UHD Graphics 630 can produce a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz. Aside from graphics, the Intel Core i7-8700T processor is compatible with motherboards that support a FCLGA 1151 socket. Moreover, this 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8700T is built on a Coffee Lake architecture with a 12MB SmartCache and support for Intel Optane memory and DDR4-2666 MHz memory modules for running dual- or single-channel configurations.

For enterprise and data-sensitive environments, the Core i7-8700T utilizes Intel vPro, Intel Trusted Execution, and other Intel-based technologies. Furthermore, Intel's Core i7-8700T features 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes for storage drives, graphics cards, and other high-performance parts. This processor has an average Thermal Design Power requirement of 35W with a configurable TDP-down of 25W, as well as a configurable TDP-down frequency of 1.9 GHz.
