Is PA271Q free of any noticeable darkening towards the edges, when looking at it from about 8 inches distance? (A visually impaired person asking.)
Asked by: M
The NEC MultiSync PA271Q 27" 16:9 Color-Critical IPS Monitor BH #NEPA271QBK should be free of darkening towards the edges, the color should be uniform across the panel. If it's not, that would point towards a defect.

Can I use my Datacolor Elite4 Calibrator to calibrate this monitor?
Asked by: William
i don't know the answer. i use the NEC color sensor and spectraview II kit for my NEC monitors. the NEC color sensor calibrator is made by xrite. i can't think of a compelling reason why your calibrator won't work with an NEC monitor, but you might consider contacting datacolor just to make sure.
