What is a stand alone calibration?

What is a stand alone calibration?
Asked by: Robert
None of these answers are correct. You should read the manual. Stand alone calibration is done with the "puck" connected directly to a port on the monitor itself. Your computer and video card are NOT involved and EVERYTHING is done on the monitor alone. The other (not stand alone) calibration is done using the NEC Spectraview software running on your computer, and the "puck" connected to your computer's USB port instead of the monitor.
