Hawke's 3-12x56 Vantage 30 WA Riflescope fits the niche of a durable hunting scope with an extra-wide 56mm aperture for exceptional low-light performance and a fine-featured illuminated L4A Dot reticle that allows precise aiming without covering the background. The reticle lies in the second focal plane and has a brilliant target dot with red or green illumination and five brightness levels. Its outline resembles the German #4 style, where a target dot is surrounded by a fine crosshair and three thin posts. To generate bright and vivid images, the optical system is outfitted with precision-ground lenses that are treated with 11 layers of anti-reflection full multi-coatings. To ensure outstanding image clarity, free of ghost images and stray light, the interior of the housing is covered with a special black finish that does not reflect any light. This iteration of the series also features a widened angle (WA) of view: 42.8-10.7' field of view at 100 yards.
