ASUS Tinker Board S Overview

The Tinker Board S Single Board Computer from ASUS features a Rockchip quad-core RK3288 processor and Mali-T764 GPU along with 2GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory and 16GB of eMMC onboard storage. A microSD card slot is also featured for additional storage. This board computer is HDMI-CEC-ready for complete video entertainment, allowing users to command both Tinker Board S and a TV with a single remote control. It supports LAN, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0 control.

This board computer has audio jack plug-in detection and auto-switch to 3.5mm audio jack from other interfaces. It features an HDMI output as well as four USB 2.0 ports for peripheral and accessory connectivity. A heatsink is included to improve heat dissipation under heavy loading or in hot ambient environments. This board computer is designed to be used with a Micro-USB cable, a Tinker Board power supply or other compatible 5V/2-3A power supply, a monitor, HDMI/USB cables, and a keyboard/mouse set (available separately).

TinkerOS includes IDLE/Python as well as Squeak/Scratch applications allowing for easy programming and development
ARM-based RK3288 SoC is equipped with four cores and operates at frequencies of up to 1.8 GHz
